Our Story
Many decades ago...a Producer hired a young Production Assistant. The Producer demanded she bring her cake and coffee every Friday, so the young, motivated Production Assistant did just that and decades later they remained friends...and amazingly continued to work on projects together!
That is our story.....we are older, hopefully wiser and have definitely come a long way. Except on Fridays when we stop work to have coffee and cake!

Sandra Makaresz
Writer / Producer
Sandra is a highly experienced writer/producer with a commitment to storytelling that has seen her work across a range of platforms from prose, to television and online. In recent years she has successfully written and produced the web series ‘Life of Jess’ as part of Screen Australia and Google’s Skip Ahead program. As a highly respected writer and most recently winner of Best Dramedy at the Asia Web Awards and Best Kids Series at Sydney Web Fest for ‘Life of Jess’, Sandra brings a combination of business acumen and deep engagement with story to every project. She is currently in development on the comedy series, Didgeri-DOIT.
Laura Clelland
Director / Producer / Writer
Laura is a Producer and Director, passionate about creating entertaining and engaging content. Having freelanced in production in Queensland for over two decades, her experience began at Network 10 and has since included work on national television commercials, online series, Australian / US television series and features. Laura was the Director (Producer, Co-writer and Editor) of the Screen Australia and Google funded series ‘Life of Jess’. Laura proudly received Best Woman Filmmaker at Barcelona Planet Filmmaker - Sagrada Familia and an Award of Excellence at IndieFest Film Awards for 'Life of Jess'. Her passion for crew and production is evident in her ownership of Queensland’s crew booking agency, Essential Crew, and guest lecturing (freelancing and the industry) at Griffith Film School and Bond University. Screen Producers Australia selected Laura as part of the ‘Ones to Watch’ in 2018, was selected by the Australian Directors Guild delegation in 2019 and was selected to travel and pitch her project at MIPTV in Cannes (Kids Live Action Pitch 2019).
